Soak Up the Sun: Outdoor Activities At Lake Tobias Wildlife Park
A warm day is best spent at the Lake Tobias Wildlife Park. Consider kicking off your visit with one of our renowned safari tours. Comprised of a relaxing ride through a spacious 150 acres of land, these journeys bring guests face to face with hundreds of free-roaming, friendly creatures, from North American bison to European fallow deer.
Our safari tours, while immersive, can be completed in just under an hour to make way for the wide range of exciting outdoor attractions to be enjoyed at the park, including our host of natural habitat exhibits. Housing all sorts of magnificent beasts – including such fearsome figures as the African lion and Bengal tiger – these features allow you to take a closer look at some of the most exotic animals from around the world.
Add an exciting experience to your trip by observing the alligator feeding, which occurs on Sundays around 4 p.m. each week. Please understand that weather and temperature may not be suitable for feeding the alligators.
All of Lake Tobias Wildlife Park’s activities are suitable for the whole family, but we have a few features that tend to be a highlight with visiting youngsters.
- Baby animal program: Throughout the season, Lake Tobias Wildlife Park receives a number of young newborn animals within each department. Our crew members nurture many of these little creatures in the Baby Animal Department. A variety of the young animals may be viewed at the Zoo Babies exhibit and a few will be walked around the park grounds for visitors to see. You may also find a feeding schedule posted at the exhibit for you to get a glimpse of some of the residents while they eat.
- Petting zoo: Boasting a diverse collection of animals from various habitats, our petting zoo is sure to stand out to your little one. Within the petting zoo, guests can frolic about with pygmy goats, feed an alpaca and much more!
