Scout Scavenger Hunt

10am-5pm (Available every day park is open)

Do the scavenger hunt, earn a patch!


All scouting troops or individual scouts are welcome to join in the fun and earn a complimentary Lake Tobias Wildlife Park patch! Just pick-up a Scavenger Hunt form at the Gift Shop and start the hunt. When you have completed the hunt, return the form to the Gift Shop to receive your patch. Scout troops with a minimum of 10 people (ages 3 yrs. and older) are eligible for the Group Rate of $18/person. To receive the discount, scout troops MUST be pre-scheduled and purchase prepaid passes. Passes will be mailed to the person making the reservation. (Scouts attending independently without a troop will be charged the regular rate.)

World Giraffe Day

BREAKFAST WITH THE GIRAFFES IS CLOSED

REGISTRATION INFO: PLEASE CALL THE PARK OFFICE TO REGISTER. REGISTRATION FOR BREAKFAST IS CLOSED
Breakfast with Giraffes 8-9 AM Cost $80/person and includes breakfast, admission to park (no safari tour), mug, and 2 carrots to feed the giraffes. Children 2 and younger are free BUT must sit on parent's lap. Your confirmation letter is your ticket for breakfast and must be brought the day of the breakfast.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED Yoga with Giraffes 6:15-7:15 PM Cost: $45/person includes Admission to the park, souvenir water bottle, and 2 carrots to feed the giraffes. Your confirmation letter is your entrance ticket. Please enter the Lower Gate by 5:45 and bring your own yoga mat.


Other activities--No registration required 1. Artwork may be purchased at the Gift Shop or Giraffe Booth. Brush art or Kiss art is available from all giraffes and may be purchased at the park during the open season May-October. 2. Raffle to win the chance to have the Giraffe of your choice do custom artwork. Tickets are $5 AND SOLD AT THE Admissions Booths and Gift Shop. 3. Vote for your favorite giraffe at the Giraffe Deck. The giraffe with the most monetary donations wins. 4. 10% of ALL Park Admission will be donated to the Giraffe Conservation Foundation

SPECIAL PRESENTATION — Museum of Prehistoric Life — Reptile Building — A collection of authentic fossil specimens from Middle Cambrian and Pleistocene Epoch periods. The display includes trilobites, fossil shark teeth, real dinosaur fossils like teeth, bone fragments and real fossilized dinosaur dung! Enter a raffle drawing at the presentation for a chance to win real fossils!

GUEST APPEARANCE: Spider-Man — Parking Lot A area, 12:00-2:00

Prize drawings for gift cards. Need not be present to win. Winners will be notified by phone after the event.



October 17 and 18, 2026


Boo at the Zoo Weekend

10am-4pm

SPECIAL GUEST-THE BUG MAN in the Reptile and Exotics building 11 AM - 4 PM.
Children 12 years and younger: Wear a Halloween costume and get free admission (safari tour must be purchased separately).


5 Trick or-Treat candy stations for all children through age 12. Find a station and add a piece of candy or a toy to your bag. FREE Pumpkin Decorating activity for children while supplies last!
